When the Rains Have Passed (small)

Is there anything so magical as the summer rains? If there is, it might just be the moment after the rains have passed and you can watch them from a distance, with a rosy sunlit aura behind them. That is the moment when you can see things in a new light and with new perspective.

When we're in the midst of difficulty, it can be so hard to see the good that's coming on the other side of it. This painting is about getting to the other side and seeing that even the storms have purpose and light that come through them.

6 x 12 inches, acrylic on panel, unframed

Notes: This is an original acrylic painting. The painting surface is a sturdy 3/4" thick panel. The painting has been varnished with an archival UV satin varnish to give it a "just painted" appearance and to ensure longevity.
